Medi DOES NOT collect sensitive, medical, clinical, biometric, or financial personal data. All information remains stored locally on the user’s device.

Data stored on the device:

• Medications registered by the user
• Reminders and scheduled times
• Medication intake history (local only)
• Language, notification, and appearance preferences

Medi does not transmit, sell, or share user information with third parties.

3. App Functionality

Data is used solely to:

• Manage personalized medication reminders
• Organize user-entered medication information
• Display local usage statistics
• Improve and personalize the in-app experience

4. Storage on iOS and Android

On iOS, the App uses:

• UserDefaults and iOS-encrypted files
• Keychain when credential persistence is required

On Android, the App uses:

• Room Database (local only)
• EncryptedSharedPreferences when supported by the device

No data is transmitted to external servers on any platform.

5. Permissions Requested (iOS + Android)

5.1 Notifications

Requested to enable medication reminders. Users may disable them at any time.

5.2 Camera

Used exclusively for barcode scanning. Images are neither stored nor transmitted.

5.3 Exact Alarms (Android)

Used to ensure precise reminder delivery on Android.

5.4 Background Tasks (iOS)

Allows timely delivery of scheduled notifications.

6. User Rights (ARCO / GDPR / CCPA)
